A literary work of art is a revelation of a persona and of a world that seek to imitate and distort reality at the same time. It seeks to unveil a truth that has always been there. What is great about art is that those permanent and constant truths are presented in a different light hence, the illusion of newness. They are, however, rebirths of pasts, recreations of personas and re-imaginings of the world– the authors and ours. We write and read so that we may share a world together, even for a few pages.
